Leroy Merlin cuts down expenses on processing of finance documents with the solution of ABBYY

October 22, 2015. The network of hypermarkets "Leroy Merlin" announced use of technologies of ABBYY to reduce costs for processing of the entering financial documentation. Now employees spend less time for processing and document retrieval for 40%.

Choosing a Solution

To optimize work with documents, the management of Leroy Merlin decided to implement electronic archive of the entering financial documentation. For this purpose invited Avis Expert company. Specialists of Avis Expert proposed the integration solution integrating three systems: the solution of ABBYY for stream input and recognition of documents, the ERP system of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite for resource management of the organization, Directum electronic document management system for storage and document retrieval.

Project Progress

The solution is designed to simplify document flow in the geographically distributed companies which work with a large number of partners. At first it was implemented in the central office Leroy Merlin in Moscow, then began to be replicated on shops of network. The first hypermarket on which the solution was tested is in Krasnogorsk (Moscow region).

Result

Within the project processing of different types of the entering financial documentation was automated: invoices, universal transfer documents, consignment notes, deeds of conveyance of the rights, certificates of cost of the performed works and costs, cargo customs declarations, forms of acceptance. The uniform electronic base of the entering finance documents is created, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
