The XML-gateway Oracle Enterprise Gateway is intended for acceleration of processing and data protection and ensuring safety of the corporate SOA infrastructures implemented both at the local level and in interdomain distributed environment or the environment of cloud computing. The gateway accelerates processing, protects, integrates and routes XML documents and Web services and also other data types. Thanks to functions of authentication, authorization and audit which allow to simplify administration of the IC Oracle Enterprise Gateway provides higher level of security of SOA infrastructure and also helps to optimize the transactions providing observance of regulatory requirements of regulating authorities.
The product maintains security at the level "demilitarized zones" (DMZ) and provides an end-to-end system of protection against threats on service perimeter for infrastructures of SOA and cloud environments, providing, thereby, the necessary level of protection upon transition between reliable and unreliable zones. It allows to unload service-oriented and cloud applicaions from the resource-intensive transactions connected with processing of XML-data. Oracle Enterprise Gateway is connected to platforms of the third firms and circles of third-party suppliers, such as IBM, CA and RSA that allows to reduce integration costs, to reduce total cost of ownership and to reduce the risks connected with deployment. The product provides accomplishment of rules of authentication, the authorization and audit set by management systems for the identification information of other vendors. One more feature of Oracle Enterprise Gateway is the possibility of data of cloud services of the enterprise, his partners and the third firms in a uniform multidomain pool and applications to this pool of key control functions and control for ensuring secure access, effective use and the high level of readiness of services in a DMZ zone.
