Softline transferred IT infrastructure of network of Palchiki salons to "cloud"

Concentration of efforts on core business is important for any growing company, and creation of own server framework requires considerable money and temporary resources. Virtual capacities from "cloud", unlike purchase of the equipment and software, allow to receive quickly the most modern server technologies without any capital investments and hiring of specialized IT personnel.

Except technology advantages, such as fault tolerance or replication of data, cloud approach gives the chance to adapt more flexibly to business: the quantity of the provided resources and payment grow only in process of sales growth. Cloud solutions have considerably smaller geographical dependence: salons of network can be opened in any cities of Russia without the need for changes in IT architecture.

Choosing a Solution

The network of salons of manicure and pedicure "Fingers" selected the partner of the project Softline not accidentally. The company has own cloud infrastructure based on VMware vSpere and Microsoft Hyper-V. "Cloud" of the company – geographically distributed also is in four cities of Russia, and its distribution is planned for seven cities in the nearest future. Specialists of the Center of monitoring and management of Softline provide smooth functioning and support of 24/7 infrastructure. Softline is also a large partner of the leading world cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

The company transferred to "cloud" of Softline the main business systems, including database 1C, having got full access to management through a self-service portal.

In a project deliverable the customer received the failsafe mobile solution with a possibility of flexible scaling and expansion of the rented capacities. 1C in "cloud" saves the company from costs for installation, updating and support of the equipment and software.
