VGTRK implements a control and management system for load of IT infrastructure

On October 16, 2014 the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) and Jet Infosystems company announced creation of a control and management system for load of corporate applications of broadcasting company on the platform of Brocade technologies.

Project Tasks

For automatic redistribution of loading between mail servers, according to load of each of them, the failover cluster of balancers of Brocade is constructed. Permanent monitoring of operability of a system of balancing and accumulation of its performance without installation of the additional hardware is provided.

"Failures in work of corporate information systems extremely negatively affect business processes of the company. Use of the solutions checked by time allowed to minimize the probability of failure of the IT service because of problems with the systems of balancing of traffic. Process automation of redistribution of loading allowed us to reduce this indicator almost to zero, significantly having increased reliability and fault tolerance of corporate applications", − Evgeny Kukushkin, the head of department network and the DIT DRTsT VGTRK server technologies told.

Project Progress
