The city administration Vladikavkaz implements the system of fixing of traffic offenses

On October 28, 2014 the Vokord company announced an implementation project of a full-function system of fixing of traffic offenses (traffic regulations) of VOCORD Traffic in Vladikavkaz.

Project Results

The solution VOCORD Traffic functions in the city of Vladikavkaz since the end of 2013. The VOCORD Traffic system is implemented in the region within implementation of the comprehensive state program of security on transport and includes six boundaries of control: five straight sections of the highway on entries into the city and one intersection.

On the line sections located at entry into the city, a system in the automatic mode monitors traffic flows, conducts calculation of cars and verifies data on the passed cars with databases of search and also fixes the violations connected with speeding. Besides, at the intersection of two central streets of Vladikavkaz – Telman and Pozharsky – the VOCORD Traffic system "catches" violations of arrival for the stop line, journey on an inhibit signal of the traffic light, departure on the selected band for public transport.

Experts noted efficiency and the big social importance of the project: during the period from November, 2013 to April, 2014 the total number of the fixed violations of traffic regulations at the intersection of streets of Telman and Pozharsky decreased almost five times, the number of violations on each straight section – by 1.5 times. In November, 2013 at this intersection (nine lanes) more than 16 thousand cases of driving through red light of the traffic light are recorded. Later half a year the indicator decreased by 15 times.

The indicator of widespread violation of traffic regulations the intersection – intersections of the stop line – for half a year of functioning of a system was reduced by it by 4.3 times.
