Vocord Astana of Innovations implemented the VOCORD Traffic system in the company

On November 11, 2014 the Vokord company implemented the system of photo and video fixing of traffic offenses (traffic regulations) VOCORD Traffic in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Astana.

Choosing a Solution

The innovative solution of Vokord company – the full-function control system of traffic of VOCORD Traffic – is brought into commercial operation in the city of Astana on October 21, 2014 within the program for complex ensuring life activity of the city (SKOZh) as which operator JSC Astana Innovations acts.

Project Progress

The unprecedented project on implementation in the region of the solution of the Russian company Vokord shows efficiency and the high social importance already today. According to representatives of Management of administrative police of DVD of Astana, only in the first week after start of a system at city intersections about 400 violations of traffic regulations for which administrative punishments made the amount equal to nearly seven million tenges were recorded (more than 1.5 million rub).

Result

Now the VOCORD Traffic system is implemented at ten main trunk intersections of the city differing in extreme intensity of traffic flow. A system fixes such violations as speeding, journey on an inhibit signal of the traffic light and also arrival for the stop line. Besides, in the nearest future a system will "catch" departure of the vehicle on an oncoming lane and not admission of the pedestrian.

The system of photo and video fixing of violations of traffic regulations VOCORD Traffic in the automatic mode monitors traffic flows, conducts calculation of cars and verifies data on the passed cars with databases of search. The violation recorded by a system undergoes processing in a processing center of JSC Astana Innovations then to the violator the corresponding instruction in a vehicle place of registration goes. Files with violations of traffic regulations can be stored in archive of a system up to five years.

According to customer representatives of the project – JSC Astana Innovations company – large-scale implementation in Astana of an intelligent system of photo and video fixing of violations of traffic regulations of VOCORD Traffic became in the republic the first project of such scale in the field of control of road security using hi-tech and innovative technologies.
