On September 13, 2016 the ABBYY company released adding to the ABBYY Lingvo Live for IOS 10 application in the form of a number of functions and opportunities.

Abbyy Lingvo Live offers instant translation of texts
Instant translation of texts is available to users of mobile applications of ABBYY Lingvo Live to iOS and Android since April, 2016. Thus, service expanded possibilities of transfer and offers a full range of tools for work with foreign texts which will be useful to both beginners, and professionals.
According to developers, the general meaning of the text helps to understand the appeared automatic translation that is especially relevant at large volumes of information. So, having loaded a fragment from interesting article or the book, it is possible to get its translation instantly. The license dictionaries available in service in which it is possible to look at values of separate words will help to make it more exact. In the same place examples of use from art and publicistic literature and also a postscoring are available. Connection of translation of texts became possible thanks to modern linguistic technologies of ABBYY of LS.
