Guardant SDK

Guardant SDK is an array of instrumentation for developers of means of protecting on the Guardant platform.

2017: There was the fourth update of SDK 7

On August 11, 2017 the Aktiv company announced release of an update for tools of protection and licensing of software.

The upgraded Guardant Armor, the optimized server of network keys, setup packages for different versions of Linux was a part of the version of Guardant SDK 7, the updated installer of drivers and is much another.

The main feature of Guardant SDK 7 update 4 - the version of the tool for software protection from modification and the analysis – Guardant Armor. In it protection algorithms are optimized, the processing speed of executable files is increased, problems of a simultaneous binding of several files are fixed, the internal reference is re-structured, office messages are upgraded.

Guardant Armor and obfuskator for .NET-applications includes support of IEEE Software Taggant System technology. Its use reduces risk of false operation of an anti-virus software at verification of the protected application.

Other Guardant SDK components also underwent upgrade. The uniform installer of drivers for OS Windows x86 and x64 with support of multilingualism is prepared. Before release these Guardant SDK and other drivers were checked by the company Microsoft. They received the WHQL signature.

Errors in a number of the Guardant tools are eliminated. Bugs in the Master of autoprotection, the server of network licenses, binding algorithms by means of the program Guardant SP keys are fixed.

The quality of utilities and technologies for Linux OS is increased. In the latest version of Guardant SDK problems are fixed:

• functioning of hardware keys in the HID mode,
• the search algorithm of a network key and distribution of floating licenses is optimized.
• separate setup packages (RPM and DEB) of the server of network keys for Linux OS of versions of x86 and x86_64 are prepared.

2014: SDK 7 is released

On November 27, 2014 the Aktiv company announced release of Guardant SDK 7 and the beginning of a new stage of development of the Guardant direction.

When developing new Guardant SDK key tasks became: convenience of using, increase in security and deep integration of products of the Guardant family.

The latest version of SDK represents completely processed product as a part of which more than 100 new functionality and improvements.

The new structure of Guardant SDK simplifies creation of the protected distribution kits, use of numerous examples and scripts for developers and also includes additional resources of automation of pre-sale preparation of electronic keys. Guardant SDK was replenished with the new Integrator increasing convenience and speed of work with the software of Guardant.

In new SDK Guardant SP support is strengthened. In drivers and utilities there is a possibility of prohibition of activation on virtual machines, automatic embedding of the activation wizard is added to the protected software product. In addition, embedding of Guardant SP Trial allows creation of trial versions of software with completely automated activation process, without the need for manual entry of serial number.

Support of a set of interface languages is expanded. At all utilities there is a uniform switching gear of languages, all software and documentation are offered in two languages – Russian and English. All significant installers and executable files are signed with the electronic digital signature.
