Guardant SP

Guardant SP is program implementation of electronic keys of Guardant with a binding to the equipment and accomplishment of hardware algorithms directly on the user's computer.

Integrates protective technologies of electronic keys with a possibility of distribution and activation of a protected software on the Internet. Has functionality of network keys and allows to carry out licensing on operating time.

Guardant SP is a program key for protection of software with opportunities of use of Avtozashchita and Guardant API, with licensing on time and on network.

The key is activated via the Internet for creation of a reliable cryptographic binding of the protected application to computer component parts.

The Guardant SP keys allow to tie reliably protected copy of the software to principal components of the computer of the user:

• operating system,
• processor,
• hard drive and optical drive.

The flexible system of licensing with real time clock, a possibility online/offline of aktivation, the convenient system of scales and net surfing give an opportunity to the developer to use software keys in the most various configurations of computer systems.

Activation server

Management of lifecycle of keys and their activation is made directly on the protected servers of Aktiv company mirrored in several data centers. Activation of serial numbers happens is transparent for developers and end users. At the same time activation of one serial number takes only several seconds, though is difficult cryptographic transaction.

Multilevel reservation of a hosting allows to activate keys 24/7 end users even at the front office, unavailable for any reasons. Existence offline-aktivatsy gives the chance to activate software keys on computers without connection to the Internet.

Action of a system

The key functions by the principles similar to hardware keys of the Guardant family. For example, when carrying out autoprotection or at Guardant API use the protected application becomes attached to a copy of a program key where the symmetric algorithm of enciphering AES128 and an algorithm of electronic signature ECC160 are used. At the same time all logic of electronic key is located in the part of the Guardant driver protected by a pseudo-code and is performed directly on the user's computer.

The data set of a key and descriptors of algorithms AES128 and ECC160 are located in the ciphered key template. The turned-out security key remains disabled until activation on the computer of the end user using unique serial number. In not activated type this template can be decrypted only on the computer of the developer or the Server of activation. After activation the template will be able to work only on the user's computer.

The procedure of activation of a program key and binding it to the computer of the user represents the protected process. On client side the computer number with a total set of scales of the principal components having the coefficients forms. The template of a program key at activation goes to one of the Guardant servers together with number of the computer and a set of scales where these data will be used for enciphering of a key and a binding to the user's computer.

2015: There was an updating of the Server of Activation and the program Guardant SP keys

On April 3, 2015 the Aktiv company reported in the output of the updated Server of Activation and the software Guardant SP keys.

As a part of innovations tools for work with large volumes of serial numbers, deep integration of all protective technologies, the increased firmness of software keys.

The server of Activation received tools for group work with keys and export transactions. Now it became simpler to separate responsibility of the developer of software and sales managers. Tools for fast change of the status and a product at any quantity of keys are added, there was a possibility of export of serial numbers and their characteristics in completely configured file of the XML formats and XLS.

Protection using Guardant API is available to all new clients of Guardant SP: service access codes for keys can be received in a personal account in the form of PDF while encryption keys and signatures of templates are still stored in the protected storage. Integration of the Server of Activation into the portal of documentation and technical support is in addition improved.

Regarding technologies of protection the Guardant SP keys received protection against activation on virtual machines and the improved pseudo-code. In the next updating of Guardant SDK the mechanism of a binding to the equipment of software keys will be strengthened, performance of keys, their firmness will increase.
