Softline transferred IT resources of "Банки.ру" to "cloud" of Amazon Web Services

On November 27, 2014 Softline performed migration of a part of IT infrastructure of Банки.ру Group in "cloud" of Amazon Web Services.

Choosing a Solution

Priority of Банки.ру Group in the field of IT solutions is ensuring comfortable work with all its portals regardless of location of the user. It demanded from IT specialists of development of a package of measures for improvement of availability and reduction of time of scaling of infrastructure. As the partner for implementation of an assigned task Softline with which there was already an experience of effective cooperation in the field of information technologies was selected: specialists of Softline repeatedly assisted Банки.ру Group in the choice of optimal solutions for business.

Project Progress

On a preparatory stage of the project the customer's specialists, having estimated merits and demerits of cloud resources in comparison with physical servers, selected the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This cloud solution in the best way conformed to requirements for fault tolerance, availability, speed of making changes. The convenience of using, optimal price relation and qualities of the provided services were additional benefit of transfer of IT infrastructure to "cloud".

Result

As a result the Amazon Web Services platform allowed the customer to create flexible IT infrastructure, to provide its fault tolerance, to quickly make all required changes without the need for purchase and service of the expensive server hardware. The scalability of the solution and a possibility of operational receiving technical support facilitated work of engineers and provided convenience of the users addressing the Банки.ру resources.

Online access to the data which are stored on servers was as a result provided, and users had an opportunity of more comfortable work with information on portals.
