The SCOUT is implemented by transport GLONASS/GPS monitoring in Northern Capital Gateway LLC company

On November 28, 2014 the SCOUT company implemented transport GLONASS/GPS monitoring system in Northern Capital Gateway LLC.

Choosing a Solution

Important component of smooth operation of the airport is the quality of functioning of land transport. Any pad which arose in work of special transport can become the direct reason of a delay of runs. Therefore to the Pulkovo airport the modern solution capable to prevent similar failures due to use of GLONASS/GPS technologies was required. Also during selection of future system of satellite monitoring the task to implement instruments of exact control of fuel consumption was set for suppliers.

Result

As a result of Northern Capital Gateway LLC stopped the choice on a System SCOUT. Specialists of SCOUT group which is a developer of this system were engaged in equipment of transport. Modules of satellite monitoring were installed on 45 units of transport – cars, platform buses and airfield special equipment. Together with them on machines fuel level sensors were mounted, and for managers 5 jobs with the software SCOUT Explorer and SCOUT-Studio were organized.

Successful experience of application of a system will be extended also in the nearest future to other vehicle fleet which contains about 500 pieces of equipment.

Having been positive for operating experience of a System SCOUT, the management of the Pulkovo airport considers the possibility of finishing number of the vehicles equipped with the equipment for a GLONASS/GPS monitoring to 500 units. Works on system implementation will be continued in 2015.
