Forvard Group implements means of protecting and reservations of data

On December 4, 2014 the Softline company announced project completion of system implementation of data backup and antivirus protection of servers for Forvard Group.

Project Tasks

Forvard Group, paying attention to development of retail chain stores and improvement of an information system, ordered Softline companies the project on creation of a backup system of data and ensuring reliable antivirus protection of servers.

Project Progress

Within the complex project of upgrade of IT infrastructure, to specialists of the contractor set the task - to minimize idle times of services by means of system implementation of data backup and antivirus protection of servers.

The Softline company executed implementation and system testing of disaster recovery of data on the basis of Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 R2. The backups created in a system are stored on DWH of IBM Storwize V3700 delivered by Softline company within the project executed earlier.

Antivirus protection of servers was provided with implementation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security. The version of a product purchased by Forvard Group includes protection of workstations and ensures safety of file servers.

Project Results

For December 4, 2014 in Forvard Group regular backup of crucial data is executed, servers are under protection of Kaspersky Endpoint Security. In case of failures in work of the IT system, functioning of necessary services will be resumed in a short space of time: mail bases are recovered within four hours, the virtual machine – within an hour.
