Education
Oleg Poretsky graduated from the Naval Institute of Radio Electronics named after A.S. Popov in St. Petersburg.
Over the following years, he successfully studied strategic management, marketing and sales, financial management and consulting.
Career
Oleg Poretsky began his career path as sales director of Stins Coman.
For more than 15 years, at various times, he held senior positions in the largest IT companies in the world: Dell, IBM, SAP, Oracle, where he was responsible for business development and achieving organizational goals.
Until March 2018, he headed the Directorate of Business Applications at Oracle Corporation.
2018: Appointment as Vice President, Sales, Russia and CIS Software AG
On March 22, 2018, Oleg Poretsky headed the Moscow office of Software AG. As Vice President of Sales in Russia and the CIS, he is responsible for the qualitative expansion of the Software AG partner network in Russia and the CIS countries, as well as increasing the company's market share in the region and increasing brand awareness.
For three years, Software AG has noted a steady increase in the value of its Digital Business Platform in the region. The company intends to further develop its presence in the IT market of Russia and the CIS countries, paying special attention to retail, oil and gas, financial and telecommunications sectors.
The interest of Russian companies in digitalization is growing rapidly.
