Severstal introduced a mobile system of requests and the order of products

The JSC Severstal company simplified process of formation of requests and orders of metal products. The project implemented together with CROC allows clients and managers of the metallurgical company to work with ERP systems and CRM from mobile devices.

Today about 70 sales managers and employees of technical support service of clients of JSC Severstal use the mobile application developed by CROC. Also tablets with the installed mobile application already received 10 clients of the company. With authorization system implementation using one-time passwords clients will be able to install mobile service and on own IOS-DEVICES.

"Consumers of our products are more than one thousand enterprises worldwide. In many respects the efficiency of sales depends on convenience and efficiency of formation of the request. Earlier on this process day and more could leave. Now with Ipad or Iphone the request for acquisition of products or the claim are made out in only several minutes. At the same time in a system it is possible to trace terms and stages of execution of the order. We calculate that such mobility will allow to increase loyalty of our clients" — Dmitry Maximov, the head of department of marketing of the Severstal Russian Steel division tells.

During the project the platform of mobile device management SAP Mobile Platform (consisting of MEAP SUP and EMM Afaria) necessary for integration of the systems of the customer (in particular, SAP ERP and SAP CRM) and mobile application and also security of corporate data was implemented.

"It is really complex project which demanded serious changes in system architecture of the customer, differentiation of access rights of different employee categories to data of a system and participation about 20 specialists of CROC — managers, engineers and programmers" — Oleg Terekhov, the director of work with corporate customers of CROC company shares.

"An opportunity to use mobile application not only in the conditions of connection to the Internet, but also in offline mode was one of key requirements of the customer. In the conditions of absence of network, it is possible to enter new data into the system or to change old without wasting time, their instant updating will happen to connection to the Internet. The implemented tool is compatible to all latests version of the operating system iOS and if the customer decides to expand a set of the devices used by employees, i.e. a possibility of fast adaptation also under Android or Windows", - Astakhov Konstantin, the head of portal and mobile solutions of CROC company says.

Following the project expansion of the list of the operating systems compatible to the application is planned.
