Qlik implemented QlikView in and IBDA RANEPA

December 23, 2014. Qlik company (NASDAQ: QLIK) and Institute of Business and Business Administration of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation (IBDA RANEPA), announced start of educational programs of advanced training of heads in the field of economy and finance. The joint initiative of Qlik and IBDA RANEPA started in the fall of 2014. At first the master class for business heads which the full-scale two-day seminar within the program of advanced training followed was successfully held. The purpose of a seminar was to train listeners in the techniques in the field of an economic and financial analysis allowing to analyze key indicators of efficiency in real time, to build forecasts on the basis of modeling tools and to make effective management decisions, based on the facts, but not on conjectures.

For carrying out the program Ilona Markovna Petrova, the teacher with a long-term experience, more than 20 years holding executive positions in the largest holdings of Russia was invited. At the moment Ilona Markovna is the research supervisor in Kamerton company which is engaged in setup of processes for financial and economic services, consultation and training of the enterprises in the field of increase in operational efficiency. Ilona Markovna has degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences and the DIPIFR (ASSA), has wide experience of teaching on the MBA programs, is recognized by the best speaker of CFO Russia, has the status "Qlik Star" and also is the author of books and a number of publications. Its cooperation with Qlik began during work in oilfield service holding "Geotek" where it held a post of the chief financial executive, and since then she successfully uses QlikView in educational initiatives.

For the purposes of carrying out the training program in IBDA RANEPA the special class where the licenses QlikView provided to Qlik within the international academic program – Qlik Academic Program are installed on all personal computers was equipped. Equipment of a class is of great importance for further development of educational initiatives using QlikView as listeners of programs can get real practical experience of work with a system already in learning process.

In further plans of Qlik and IBDA RANEPA – expansion of the educational program for business heads based on QlikView. Thanks to cooperation with Ilona Petrova methodological filling of short seminars and full-scale programs of advanced training which will be available to listeners already in the first half of 2015 is now developed. In particular, the rate of the business analysis is included in the program of training of Doctors of business administration (DBA).
