In the Kirov region the pilot project on connection of transport of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to FortMonitor software is implemented

December 25, 2014. Navigation platforms of special transport of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and other emergency operational services of the Kirov region were integrated based on FortMonitor software for testing of work of a subsystem of monitoring of transport in composition "112".

In 2010-2011 special transport of divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kirov region was equipped with the equipment for monitoring of transport which functioned based on the telematic Avtotreker server.

However technology features of the existing navigation system did not allow to integrate it with the systems of other emergency services. NIS company Kirov, the official representative of Fort Telecom in the Kirov region, offered within a pilot project based on the FortMonitor platform to create a system which would integrate navigation complexes of the organizations participating in emergency response with service "112" and the ERA-GLONASS system.

Based on Crisis Management Centre the FortMonitor 3 server to which special motor transport of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kirov region and also the machine of emergency medical service, uniform on duty and dispatching office and abnormal services of water supply and Kirovoblgaz – only 117 units of vehicles was connected was deployed.

In 2 months the working prototype of a subsystem of monitoring of transport of the emergency operational services as a part of "the 112 System was created and tested, organizational, technical and technological solutions on consolidation of different telematic platforms and navigation equipment of different producers based on one software and also mechanisms of interaction and operational management of transport of emergency services are fulfilled.

"Thanks to the reached mutual understanding with the management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kirov region concerning increase in efficiency of reaction of emergency services at occurrence of extreme situations, our company could implement consolidation of different navigation systems in practice. During implementation of a pilot project joint efforts formulated equipment functional requirements, to creation of hardware-software complexes and data transfer protocols. The got experience will be used in engineering design of System 112 and its interface to "ERA-GLONASS" when implementing the Federal target program "Creation of a System of Providing a Call of the Emergency Operational Services by Uniform Number "112" in the Russian Federation for 2013 - 2017", - the director of NIS Kirov Sergey Valeryevich Kazakov told.
