Bakery No. 28 is the enterprise in Russia for production of bakery products.

History

1981: Creation of the company

Need to have own bakery production at residents of Zelenograd appeared in 1972. The population of the city grew, at the same time consumption of bread increased, and the volume of transportations from Moscow could not provide the increasing needs of citizens for bakery products any more. The construction of Bakery No. 28 was completed in 1981. And already more than 30 years the enterprise supplies residents of Zelenograd, Muscovites and residents of Moscow area fresh bakery and confectionery, for years of work not only having managed to increase more than twice outputs, to expand the range, but also to considerably expand geography of sales, having arranged deliveries to regions and abroad.

End of construction of Bakery No. 28. The building is accepted in operation by State commission. The release of 41 tons of bakery and 3 tons of confectionery a day was originally planned. The collective consisted of 150 people. In the first years of work the range of the performed products contained only 14 positions. Own transport division is created.

1994

The plant is transformed, the Bakery No. 28 Open joint stock company is formed.

1996

There was a new type of products - lukumny cakes "Fairies" and "Yaroslavna". Originally the expiration date of cakes did not exceed 15 days. Now at the enterprise 6 types of lukumny cakes which storage life is increased up to 3 months at the room temperature are made.

1999

Year of the beginning of active upgrade of production. Increase of production capacity became a necessary condition for successful functioning of the enterprise in the conditions of market economy:

  • production of new types of cereals ("Long loaf with bran" and Small loaf the Zelenograd) within the assortment group "Healthy Power Supply" is developed. Now the range of the Hlebzdrav trademark contains more than 10 types of cereals.

  • at the end of 1999 the line of production of the puff products "Ears" is put into operation (with sugar, with poppy, with cinnamon, with nut). The production volume of these products for years of work increased several times.

2000

Emergence of new products - Tubules and "Braids with Jam"

2001

JSC Bakery No. 28 took part in tender of ecologically quality products in February. It is awarded with the medal "Winner of Competition of Ecologically Quality Products" for high tastes and design of packaging of confectionery products.

In August JSC Bakery No. 28 participated in the newspaper presentation Domestic manufacturers and gained the honourable diploma "For outstanding merits in development of the domestic industry and gain of competitiveness of the Russian products in the world market".

2002

Emergence of new products - "Roll with Poppy", "Roll with Orange", Croissants, Smile with Chocolate, Smile with Apple, Smile with Cottage Cheese and Smile with Cheese rolls.

2003

The enterprise begins to prormote products actively. In shops and wholesale companies tastings and promotion actions for the purpose of acquaintance of buyers and sales representatives with products of JSC Bakery No. 28 are carried out. Construction of workshop on production of small-pieces products is begun. JSC Bakery No. 28 acquires a controlling stake of Bakery No. 24 Ltd and begins its complete reconstruction. JSC Bakery No. 28 participates in the "Fondovy Rynok Invest of the Expo Moscow" exhibition. The enterprise submitted the rebuilding plan and upgrades of production for 2004-2007.

2004

JSC Bakery No. 28 through official distributors participates in an industry show of "ProdExpo-2004" passing in Moscow. Gingerbreads with stuffings, ears, lukumny cakes and other confectionery products which are turned out by the enterprise were presented at an exhibition. Participation in an exhibition expanded a scope of regional sales market and also allowed to find new buyers in Moscow and the Moscow region. JSC Bakery No. 28 pays attention to maintenance of domestic sport and physical development of youth. In February, 2004 the enterprise sponsored for the III Youthful Championship of Russia and the Open Ice climbing Championship of Moscow. On April 26-29 JSC Bakery No. 28 participates in an exhibition "Pekarnya-makarony-intersladosti-2004", and in September of the same year in "World Food Moscow-2004". Production of a new product – "Lukum in Chocolate Glaze" is begun (with vanilla, rum and citrus tastes).

  • In November, 2004 JSC Bakery No. 28 participated in muster taken by the Russian fund of Consumer protection "The best in Russia". It is awarded with the diploma "For active participation in formation of civilized consumer market in Russia".

2005

Construction of the new 6-storey production body for the purpose of expansion of production areas, capacities and upgrade of production is begun. As a result by 2008 it is going to increase production volume of bakery products almost twice. On September 20-23 the enterprise successfully presents the products at the World Food Moscow-2005 exhibition. In group of national bread innovation - the Italian Chiabbata flat cake appeared.

2006

Bakery No. 28 participated in two international exhibitions in Moscow:

  • On February 13-17 "ProdExpo-2006".
  • On September 26-29 in "World Food Moscow-2006".

2007

On February 12-16 JSC Bakery No. 28 participates in the ProdExpo 2007 exhibition. On February 23-26 in an exhibition "Pekarnya-Makarony-Intersladosti-2007". Under the Hlebzdrav trademark cereals of the Healthy Power Supply series are produced: Maraton; "Кюрбисброт"; Pumpernikel. Cotton candy of different flowers with different tastes is produced. JSC Bakery No. 28 is included into ten leading enterprises of the baking industry of Moscow. Number of staff at the enterprise is 872 persons.

Also from 2005 to 2007 new products were put on the market:

  • Sweet pies with natural berries stuffings: blackcurrant, cherry and strawberry.
  • Pies with unsweetened stuffings: cabbage and mushrooms.
  • Roll with a caramel stuffing.
  • Mini-rolls with poppy filling.
  • The Magic Dream cookies with Herculean flakes, the Magic Dream cookies with bran, the Zemelakh cookies with poppy, the Zemelakh cookies with sesame.
  • Cakes "Fragrant with Orange", "Fragrant with Dried Apricots", "Tea with a Filbert", "Fragrant with Cherry", "Vanilla with Raisin".

2008

New products were put on the market:

To Krakla - puff products with fruit and berry stuffings in the Home-made Pastries series. Focaccia with cheese and focaccia with olives – traditional Italian bread in the National Bread series Gingerbreads with fruit apple filling in mint glaze in packaging with new design.

2009

New products were put on the market:

  • The new line of refined cookies from puff and Testo-Besto shortcake dough;

  • Sticks Rich "To tea" glazed by chocolate;

  • Innovation of Oriental sweets is the Rahat lakoum with dried apricots and with a filbert, dried apricots and aroma of honey, with dried apricots and almonds;

  • All favourite puff Ears in packaging with new design;

  • New development of our confectioners – fragrant Miloriya macaroon goods, air and crackling, in the form of coins;

  • Pies with stuffings in the Home-made Pastries series.

2012

By joint stock company it is transformed to Bakery No. 28 Ltd. Today Bakery No. 28 Ltd is included into ten leading enterprises of the baking industry of Moscow. High quality of products is provided thanks to the modern equipment.

The new and interesting new products which do not have analogs in the Russian market such as puff products Curve piece and Slashki are issued. Besides, Bakery No. 28 has the widest lines of bread of a healthy power supply of Hlebzdrav and tasty "Home-made pastries" among the Moscow bakeries.

2013

In 2013 there is a rebranding – on packaging there is a new concept of design with the Master Pekar and the new slogan characterizing long and fruitful activity of the plant - "Art bake traditions". Time does not stand still, and Bakery No. 28 decides to create uniform for all types of products, the beautiful and memorable brand. On light the new concept is born summer of 2013. Bakery No. 28 has a new person now - the Master Pekar. It has light temper and a good-natured smile. However, Pekar is a mature man who is, without exaggeration, the expert. He is a professional baker who relies in the work on traditional recipes but also wishing and to try something new in work. So the new slogan of Bakery No. 28 was born: "Art bake traditions". Like highly artistic crafts, bread baking and production of refined sweets - not primitive work, but art where our Master implements the talent. To it the opinion about it of consumers is important, and he appreciates an appreciation of the skill!

Successful innovation of 2013 – appetizing mini-rolls with cream which thanks to new technology have an expiration date to 1.5 months inclusive and long remain soft and gentle.

2014

New products - Lithuanian bread are issued. Scalded bread as bake in Lithuania, has a soft dense crumb of high humidity due to technology of liquid ferments thanks to which he develops a saturated taste and dense aroma.
