DTEK protects data in De Novo Cloud

The De Novo company, the national operator of cloud services and the supplier of professional IT services, implemented the project on creation of a corporate system of backup for DTEK and also provided cloud resources for the business application of the SAP company. Implementation of these major problems became possible thanks to professionalism of a joint project team and also a business model of De Novo including operator and project businesses.

DTEK is the largest private vertically integrated energy company of Ukraine. The DTEK enterprises work in spheres of production and enrichment of coal and also at the markets of generation and electrical supplies. Revenue of DTEK in 2013 made 92,817 million hryvnias.

The project implemented for DTEK in De Novo Cloud consisted of three components. One of tasks was creation of a corporate system of backup based on cloud infrastructure. The second task – migration in the Cloud of De Novo of separate modules of the business application of SAP and also preproductive platforms and test environments jointly was provided by specialists of DTEK and De Novo. In addition to these tasks, the project included transition to the new version of Microsoft Exchange for which platform selected De Novo Cloud.
