"The consolidated petrochemical company" upgraded IT infrastructure

On February 4, 2015 it became known of the project of creation of IT infrastructure for JSC Consolidated Petrochemical Company. Work in the project was carried out by specialists of department of network integration of LANIT company.

Project Progress

Specialists of LANIT designed and unrolled modern IT infrastructure on the basis of program and the hardware from Cisco Systems company.

IT infrastructure consists of segments of a wired and wireless network of data transmission, unified communications and a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING), the configured services providing to users collective access to network files and applications.

The uniqueness of the platform is that it integrates several different subsystems functioning in interaction among themselves. In particular, the subsystem of the IP telephony and unified communications of Cisco CallManager is integrated with a subsystem of VKS of Cisco TelePresence, software clients for the IP telephony and VKS of Cisco Jabber, the video terminals of production of Polycom company located on local and remote platforms of holding.

Principal components of infrastructure are designed and configured in a failsafe configuration. For guests of the enterprise logically separated wireless network with preliminary authentication for Internet access is created. Traffic of corporate and guest users is separated by firewalls for ensuring network security.

Project result

The customer received the productive, failsafe, protected IT environment ensuring effective functioning of business applications in any point of presence of the company including remote platforms. The deployed solution provides further expansion and upgrade of systems without essential costs from the customer.

It was most difficult to integrate several solutions of different producers in a single system of VKS – in such cases quite often there are compatibility issues. Our specialists have extensive work experience with all main producers of the systems of unified communications and are well familiar with technical features of this equipment. It allowed us to ensure system operation of VKS at qualitatively new level".
