February 6, 2015. The management of fashion house Paul Smith announced the optimization existing IT infrastructures using solutions Microsoft. The company implemented a number of products of Microsoft: Windows Server System Server SQL Server Hyper-V StorSimple, Microsoft Azure and Office 365.

At last, Microsoft Office applications 365 allowed all employees of a wide branch network of Paul Smith to work both at office, and beyond its limits. Sellers in retail stores use for work with clients tablets based on Windows 8.1 with the preset Office packet.

Result

The combination of such software products as Windows Server, System Server SQL Server Hyper-V StorSimple, Microsoft Azure and Office 365, allowed to make a system more functional and reliable and also significantly lowered finance costs of the enterprise. The created infrastructure easily is scaled, ensuring smooth operation of the enterprise even during the periods of the maximum loads: during an exit of new collections and sales.

Complex implementation allowed to increase IT system power by 200%, to reduce time of its recovery from 48 to 5 o'clock minutes and also to reduce annual housekeeping overheads more than by 800 thousand pounds.
