The Planskan ELAR planetary scanner of the A1B series is delivered in the Kostroma regional universal scientific library

The Kostroma library, being the storage of editions and documents, largest in the region, provides to the readers access not only to paper sources, but also electronic resources. In particular, on the website of library the "Electronic collection of edge" containing local history editions and book monuments to the Kostroma region in a digital format is provided.

For continuation of works on creation of electronic collections on study of local lore, the periodical press, scientific and methodical literature in the Kostroma regional universal scientific library the complex of planetary scanning of ELAR Planskan of the A1B series is set. On the equipment the contactless method will digitize originals of documents of library to A1 format. The book cradle of the scanner with changeable slope angle 140 or 180 of degrees allows to scan qualitatively the thick books and the stitched documents having a tough back or a dense stitching without causing damage to editions.
