Rogalev Nikolay Dmitrievich

Rogalev Nikolay Dmitrievich is the rector of MEI.

Biography

Nikolay was born on February 17, 1962 in the settlements of Urussu, Tatarskaya of the ASSR.

In 1985 got an education at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI), heat power faculty, specialty "Thermal Power Plants".

In 1988 "Boiler Installations and Ecology of Power" department, Candidate of Technical Sciences completed a postgraduate study of MEI.

From 1989 to 1994 worked as the senior research associate of "Boiler Installations and Ecology of Power" department of Moscow Power Engineering Institute.

In 1994 and for 2000 worked as the chief specialist of department of commercial maintenance of Research and Development of Moscow Power Engineering Institute;

From 2000 to 2001 held a position of professor of "Industrial Economy and Organizations of the Enterprises" department of Moscow Power Engineering Institute;

In 2001 it is appointed professor-head of the department "Industrial economy and the organizations of the enterprises" of Moscow Power Engineering Institute;

From 2004 to 2007 works as the CEO of the Russian-Chinese technopark Friendship, in combination.

From 1991 to 2007 worked as the CEO of the MEI Scientific park;

In 2003 and for 2007 worked the vice rector for the innovation activity of Moscow Power Engineering Institute (specification);

From 2007 to 2008 worked as the advisor to director general of institute of NIIgazeconomika LLC of JSC Gazprom;

In 2008 and for 2009 worked as the deputy CEO for the innovative development of Gas Energy Company (GEK) LLC of JSC Gazprom;

From 2009 to 2010 JSC Gazprom worked as the deputy CEO for the innovative development of Gazprom Energoholding LLC (it is transformed from Gas Energy Company LLC);

In 2010 and for 2012 worked as the research supervisor, the First Deputy CEO of Eskotek holding;

From 2012 to 2013 worked the deputy manager on scientific and innovation activity of Energy without Borders fund of INTER RAO UES;

For March 3, 2015 Nikolay Dmitrievich Rogalev works as the rector of MEI.
