2019: The organization of free Wi-Fi in 20-thousand shop "Magnit"

On July 19, 2019 "Rostelecom" announced the organization of free access to Wi-Fi- networks for buyers of 20-thousand shop "Magnet". The anniversary outlet of the company opened century situated near Moscow To the queen. The joint project became possible thanks to the agreement on cooperation development signed in June, 2019.

According to the document of the company are going to start joint projects on providing different types of communication in retail network "Magnit", including telematic communication services, radio telephone communication, services for data transmission, services of information security, video surveillance and other modern hi-tech services. The shop in the Queen became the first outlet of network in which free Wi-Fi is available to buyers.

The retail network "Magnit" cooperates with Rostelecom more than 20 years. During this time communication provides thousands of shops and also head office of the company and offices of regional branches.

2015: Connection to the Internet of points of Magnit network in Yoshkar-Ola

March 26, 2015. The Rostelecom company reported^[1] about providing Internet access to two shopping complexes of Magnit network in the city of Yoshkar-Ola.

Today are provided with a fixed communication and are connected to the Internet of 20 points of the Russian retailer on all republic. Under the terms of the agreement data transfer rate will make up to 6 Mbps depending on requirements of retail chain stores and technical capability of the operator.

September 07, 2015. Rostelecom connected^[2] to broadband access in the Internet of 10 shops of Magnit network in the large cities and the district centers of the Saratov region.

New connection points appeared in Volsk, Krasnoarmeysk, Arkadake, Khvalynsk, Rtishchevo, Markous, Bald mountains and Petrovsk. The service is provided on FTTB technology (Fiber-To-The-Building is optics to the building) at a speed up to 100 Mbps.

"We cooperate with retail network "Magnit" more than 10 years and are very glad that this company entrusted the organization of a communications infrastructure for the shopping facilities to Rostelecom. During this time we implemented tens of projects and organized about 250 connection points to the Internet and services of local and long-distance telephony. Now we continue work on a number of the directions including on construction of fiber lines of communication for new shops in the district centers", - Alexander Bychkov, the director of the Saratov branch of Rostelecom comments.

At the moment the operator services more than 200 shops of Magnit network in the territory of the Saratov region. Rostelecom provides to the client services of high-speed Internet access and also local and long-distance telephony. Within cooperation increase it is until the end of the year going to connect 5 more outlets of the retailer.
