In the project the following tasks were set:

• Process automation and control of use of digital signature certificates of the Unified State Automated Information System.
• Initialization of key carriers and release and updating of certificates on own accredited certification center.
• Taking under management of the key carriers and certificates of the Unified State Automated Information System which are already used in work.
• Control of use of key carriers, exception of an opportunity for work of employees with the unauthorized key carrier. Binding of key carriers to specific sales points.
• Remote administration of key carriers (blocking/change of PIN codes, initialization of the carrier, release of certificates and so forth)
• Maintaining electronic journal of accounting of a CIPF.
• Infrastructure management of PKI for office employees
• Release and updating of certificates for authentication in OS.
• Release and infrastructure management of a virtual smart card.
• Control of use of equipment rooms and virtual key carriers.

Features of infrastructure included:

• More than 10,000 jobs.
• Jobs are geographically distributed (across all territory of the Russian Federation).
• Key carriers of different models and producers are used.

Features of the implemented system were as follows:

• For the solution of a problem of control of use of smart cards, tokens and certificates in workplaces the specialized module - the client agent is used. The agent is established on the PC of users and allows administrators to execute transactions with key carriers far off.
• Function of accounting and control of validity period of the certificates issued by third-party UTs is used.
• The electronic journal of accounting of a CIPF is kept.
• The used authentication methods.
• Smart card and USB key, digital certificate.

During the project the product Indeed Certificate Manager was implemented.

The number of users was more than 10,000.
