Content

On April 9, 2015 the herd is known of the beginning of the project of online training of staff of KAMAZ group using a cloud solution of SAP Learning Hub. The contractor in the project of SAP CIS.

Project Tasks

Strategic priorities of KAMAZ Group in the conditions of the fast-growing competition is technology improvement of the basic production business processes. It caused continuation of cooperation between SAP and group of companies KAMAZ.

The next step in this aspect - the beginning of the project on implementation of functionality of SAP Business Warehouse and SAP BusinessObjects for the analysis of different production and financial performance. In addition, the company continues optimization of logistic processes through SAP WMS/EWM in connection with expansion of a lineup of cars of a new complete set.

Annual expansion of functionality and automation of additional business processes caused demand from employees for training in SAP solutions.

Project Progress

In 2014 jointly with specialists of SAP Education the level of training of consultants and key business users of KAMAZ Group is analyzed. During summing up it became obvious: for maintenance of the implemented solutions, increase in loyalty and fast adaptation of employees to new projects the flexible system of accumulation and systematization of knowledge in the company is necessary for the management.

"For advanced training in 10 leading functional directions of SAP and decrease in load of consultants we needed more than 80 rates for each employee of the company that was beyond admissible budgets. In the current conditions we looked for an alternative method which would allow us to develop employee competences, proceeding from the existing solution portfolio and projects of SAP, having as much as possible reduced at the same time costs of the company for training. We stopped the choice on the cloud SAP Learning Hub online platform with access to up-to-date information in mode 24 on 7 and continuous process of training and accumulation of knowledge" - Artem Golovaty, the Chief information officer of KAMAZ Group noted.

Project Results

For April 9, 2015, as a pilot project, the solution is used by 15 consultants of Service Center of Business LLC - subsidiary company KAMAZ Group.

"Experience of such large player as KAMAZ Group is indicative and, I am sure, will be popular in the market. Than more experience and knowledge in the field of SAP solutions users receive, especially use of these technological tools is effective. According to joint survey VCIOM and SAP, today sufficient applied knowledge only 13% of graduates of technical specialties have, and 87% need in-plant training. A task of such solutions as Learning Hub as much as possible to increase performance of each of users and to achieve 100% of result of use of technologies of SAP", - Pavel Gontarev, the deputy CEO of SAP CIS told.
