The 1C Rating company automated Prommashkomplekt LLP the plant in Kazakhstan on production of railroad switches and railway wheels. The system created on the basis of the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 for Kazakhstan" covered 80 jobs, allowed to organize effective management of production, to accelerate and make more exact cost accounting of products. The company management received an array of instrumentation for accounting and control of financial and productive activity of the enterprise and also strengthened managerial supervision over work of personnel.

Premises of an implementation project of a new information system were:

  • Insufficient automation of some sections of accounting or functional units.
  • Lack of planned and managerial data and the reporting in the current information system.
  • This processed "in manual" and request of the necessary information at the staff of related departments that distracted them from accomplishment of direct duties.

The management determined the following purposes and project tasks:

  • The maximum transfer of information input on places i.e. where it is formed.
  • Obtaining operational, timely and reliable information for acceptance of management decisions.
  • Development of mechanisms of management accounting and sale of these mechanisms software tools of a system.
  • Ensuring interrelation of accounting and operational accounting of production business activities.
  • Organization of effective interaction of divisions.
  • Increase in production efficiency.

As the contractor for implementation the 1C Rating company was selected. In the course of implementation active part was taken by own IT service of the enterprise. As the software product for the created information system the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management configuration for Kazakhstan was selected".

During the project the following tasks are solved:

Within a subsystem Production management together with heads of production divisions and departments of conducting managerial and regulated accounting the model of accounting of flows of costs and release of finished goods / rendering of services was developed for the main and auxiliary production. For observance of the specified requirements analogs of materials were used. Also changes in procedures of cost accounting of finished goods and costs of work in progress were made.

The implemented mechanism allowed:

  • distribute overheads strictly according to the consumption regulations set in specifications of products and also to control the volume of costs of work in progress;
  • obtain the up-to-date information about the product cost and stock balance of component parts used by economists for assessment of feasibility of orders of buyers;
  • obtain data of complete product cost taking into account non-productive costs for profitability analysis of production by separate nomenclature positions.

Within a subsystem "Cash management" the functionality is developed for operational and flexible accumulation of requests for expenditure of means in the register of payments that allows to manage cash flows.

In a management subsystem all warehouses and storerooms of the plant work with stocks. Within a subsystem new mechanisms of distribution of the additional expenses arriving on already consumed inventory are implemented.

Subsystems of own development are implemented:

  • under approval of any kinds of documents of flexible routes of approval;
  • on maintaining treasury taking into account additional cuts of control.

Within a subsystem "Salary and personnel management" at the time of project finish of implementation are automated the following accounting circuits:

  • personnel records;
  • planning of employee occupation: holidays and/or other actions;
  • time recording of employees;
  • payroll calculation;
  • calculation of taxes and contributions, including compulsory professional pension contributions;
  • salary payment;
  • reflection of salary in regulated accounting;
  • accounting of writs of execution and also settlement with receivers according to writs of execution;
  • the regulated tax and statistical reporting;
  • additional reports and printed forms are developed.

Besides, the analysis of business processes is carried out and requirements to development of functionality of a system which are planned to accomplishment for the 2nd queue are formulated.

Within the working subsystem "Management of fixed assets" the functionality in addition is developed for a possibility of reflection of operations on implementation of objects of incomplete construction.

The end of trial operation and input of a system in commercial operation took place 9/2/2014. Users of a system are employees of most divisions of the enterprise, 80 jobs are automated.

Thanks to the unified information system which covered most divisions of the plant, the plant's management is sure that the continuing deployment of a railway industrial cluster has worthy information support.
