ELAR corporation delivered two Skanpro ELAR scanners 2000 and the software "the Registrar 3000" in macroregional branch "Centre" of JSC Rostelecom. The equipment and software will be used for digitization and indexing of the documents placed on microforms for the purpose of preserving of corporate archive fund.
On ELAR Skanpro of 2000 the customer is going to scan the documents placed on microfiches, dzhekketa, a rolled microfilm and other microforms. ELAR Skanpro of 2000 displays information from microcarriers on the computer monitor in real time, digitizes and transfers images of documents to the PC and printers in an original format (A3-A5) with a possibility of increase in permission. Construction and equipping of the equipment allow to provide exact positioning of microforms and to avoid appearance of scratches on a film. The Registrar 3000 program is intended for indexing of images and creation of the database of the digitized documentation.
