SuperWave replaced ERP

On May 5, 2015 it became known of the project of upgrade of a system of production accounting of SuperWave company. The contractor in the project Columbus company.

For support of key processes of business SuperWave uses the ERP system on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform.

Project Progress

By the beginning of the project basic processes of company management were implemented in Microsoft Dynamics AH 2009. Nevertheless, production account continued to be kept in the old version of a system that caused inconveniences for the staff of printing house, a warehouse and other divisions.

The guide of SuperWave attracted consulting company Columbus to optimization of management of production processes. The project team developed and implemented the plan of migration of the module of production accounting for the new platform, configured additional functionality according to requirements of the customer.

Project Results

As a result of project implementation basic processes of planning and production management are automated:

• in a system orders for production form
• account of raw materials and finished goods is kept
• unlike the former version of the module, the company can quickly calculate actual cost of production, register and manage defective products.

With transfer of modules to a system Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SuperWave:

• quickly calculates expenses on production
• determines final product cost.
• obtains exact data on a remaining balance of goods in a warehouse,
• creates data on the need for raw materials
• timely plans purchases for production,
• controls the volume of finished goods,
• has data - when in what quantity, at what stage materials are written off.

"In the old version of a system we did not consider expenses on compensation of personnel and taxes on production operations. The new module of production accounting allows to control all production costs, and not just expenses on raw materials. We can precisely calculate cost value of the turned-out products, set the correct prices for sale, we manage raw materials and resources on production more effectively", - Mikhail Krasov, the head of group of development and operation of business applications of SuperWave noted.

"Accurate accounting of direct costs allows us to make management decisions more effectively. Before transition to a single system a row production the CFD was represented to us extremely economic. Actually direct expenses which these "made" the CFD were carried as general production expenses on all participants of production process, "greasing" an exact picture. Now all in a different way, we see exact actual values of cost value of finished goods.
