Fujitsu Primequest 3800E и 3400E
The Fujitsu company announced on November 15, 2017 release of a series of completely updated Primequest servers intended for satisfaction of business needs for conditions of an era of digital transformation. The servers of Fujitsu created based on a processor family of Intel Xeon Scalable, upgraded differ in modern design for ensuring high performance and flexibility of the choice of a configuration.
A series of servers of Fujitsu is headed by the Primequest 3800E and Primequest 3400E models which provide the high performance and the increased efficiency for the most exacting crucial environments. They simplify the server framework intended for crucial calculations and are executed in a form factor 7U. Models provide higher performance at the smaller size that allows to reduce energy consumption and to cut down expenses, claim in Fujitsu.
Crucial functions of the provided systems, including the improved RAS functions, provide high reliability of the platform for the continuity of work that does these servers by cost-efficient solutions for crucial applications, including ultimate loads of UNIX, online transaction processing, batch processing, applications of databases and analytics in real time.
According to the representative of Fujitsu, completely updated line of the Primequest servers provides the optimized performance, cost and flexibility practically for any IT task, model of use, a market segment and requirements of business, helping to accelerate digital transformation with preserving of control over expenses.
All servers of Fujitsu support a possibility of the simplified remote control throughout the entire period of operation using software of Fujitsu ServerView Suite with the integrated controller of remote control iRMC S5.
The Primequest servers can be purchased around the world at Fujitsu company and its distributors. Cost depends on the country, model and a configuration.

The line of the eight-processor Primequest systems is upgraded
On July 12, 2017 Fujitsu announced release of the eight-processor server Primequest systems on the platform of the Intel Xeon processors Scalable. Servers are focused on support of problems of analytics and creation of artificial intelligence.
In the Primequest servers the amount of memory of databases on the SAP HANA platform to 12 TB is increased.
The built-in functions of management allow IT departments to develop, control and support far off services, the solution Fujitsu ServerView Infrastructure Software Manager (ISM) executes the consolidated and effective management of convergent infrastructures and the equipment, irrespective of their location.

2016: Fujitsu Primequest occupy 38% in the Russian market of eight-socket servers of standard architecture

Besides, central processors and RAM are steady against failures thanks to multilevel mechanisms of data protection.
According to the producer, in total the Fujitsu PRIMEQUEST 2800 servers have readiness, comparable to the UNIX systems, and cost efficiency of standard architecture. allowing to carry out business and critical tasks at the smaller IT budget in comparison with the servers constructed on expensive RISC processors.
The PRIMEQUEST servers are focused on solving of tasks of the customers performing migration of applications from meynfeym and the RISC/UNIX systems, implementing large projects of scaling, virtualization and deployment of resource-intensive applications of Linux/Windows, DBMS.
Primequest 2800, 2014 server
On May 7, 2015 the Fujitsu company provided a line new, the second, generation of high-end servers of standard architecture of PRIMEQUEST of series 2000.
The server is certified by SAP company for work with SAP HANA in one-nodal configurations.
Features of the second generation:
- the RAS components with advanced functions of selfrecovery, including dynamic configuration change and extended partitions,
- fault tolerance of memory of DDR4,
- processor family of Intel Xeon E7 v3.
This line of PRIMEQUEST changes processing of crucial workloads by means of 12 TB memories.
The eight-processor PRIMEQUEST 2800E2 system is suitable for the solution of crucial tasks when idle times are inadmissible. Systems are intended to the companies passing to the platform of standard architecture without losing reliability inherent to UNIX-SYSTEMS and mainframes.
