"SKTB "Plastic"" completed the organization of archive of engineering documentation

On May 12, 2015 it became known of an implementation project of uniform corporate reference books at the enterprise SKTB "Plastic"^[1].

Project Progress

For May 12, 2015 in SKTB "Plastic" specialists of ASCON-Samara company conduct works on the project of automation of design-technology preparation of production on the platform of software solutions of ASCON.

Result of the first stage - implementation at the enterprise of three corporate reference books: "Standard products", "Materials and Ranges" and "Reference book by the technologist". During the project work on collecting and systematization of data on the materials and ranges, standard \other \purchased products applied at the enterprise, technology information is done.

Data retrieveds are imported to the configured databases of the corresponding corporate reference books. Within a stage user training to use of reference books is executed, the work documentation is prepared.

Project Results

With implementation of the corporate reference book "Materials and Ranges", the centralized storage and use of information on the materials and ranges used at the enterprise, providing with information on materials of all services of the enterprise is provided.

Implementation of the corporate reference book "Standard Products" provided the centralized storage and use of information on standard and standard products. The uniform information database is available from a workplace of the designer, the technologist, other specialists.

As a result of implementation of the reference book "Reference Book by the Technologist" are created:

• unified environment for storage, access and processing of the technology data used in processes of KTPP
• full centralized operation is provided with corporate handbook data and documents of the enterprise.

Operation of a system

On February 1, 2016 the group announced IT-Consult project completion of development and deployment of a system of electronic archive of engineering documentation in "SKTB of Plastics".

For February 1, 2016 specialists of integrator completed the work on the project of creation of electronic archive of engineering documentation of the enterprise  of the customer on the LOTSMAN:PLM platform.

During the project the technical specifications on formation of electronic archive are developed, specialized system configuration of LOTSMAN:PLM and specialized modules is developed for registration of change of the archive documentation, personnel training of the enterprise is provided. 

The implemented system provides long document storage with protection against unauthorized access, allows to recover the lost documents due to database backup. Besides, all actions of the employees having the right to work with information in archive automatically register in the magazine of actions that allows to control lifecycle of the document. 

For February 1, 2016 the electronic archive of the enterprise works in the normal mode of operation.
