Sberbank of the Russian Federation held testing of the main network resource

On October 30, 2015 Sberbank defined winners of two tenders (20 lots) on services of functional and stress testing of the automated systems (AS). Their total initial amount was about 1.9 billion rubles.

Four lots for 203 million rubles were won by Bell Integrator company. It will test on loading applications for remote banking and a management system for processing. Functionally the company will test BI and the system of government of investments.

On June 4, 2015 the Bell Integrator company announced completion of stress and functional testing of the website of Sberbank.

Project Tasks

One of key objects of testing - the technology platform of Backbase Customer Experience Platform created by Backbase company on the basis of which the website of Sberbank is designed.

Within functional testing the contractor checked the websites sberbank.ru and sberbank.com, 72 information services and corporate network of bank. A subject of testing became:

• correctness of work of information services of the website,
• imposition,
• moderation of pages.

Project Progress

Stress testing of the websites sberbank.ru and sberbank.com confirmed capability to support simultaneous operation of tens of thousands of users and hundreds of requests per second. The continuous stress testing lasting more than a day showed sure interaction of the websites with internal and external corporate networks on the planned extreme volume of user queries and also revealed an essential stock of stability in case of their exceeding. For implementation of the new platform joint efforts develop methodology on continuous stress testing of each release.
