Eurasian Bank implemented a management system for master data

On May 14, 2015 it became known of an implementation project in Eurasian Bank of a management system for master data. The integrator in the project R-Style Softlab company^[1].

Project Objectives

The project was implemented within strategic initiatives of bank on quality improvement of collecting and unification of contact customer information.

For development of a MDM system the R-Style Softlab company relied on examination regarding creation of data warehouses and analytical applications on the RS-DataHouse platform.

It is supposed that MDM will be used by the different divisions of bank applying to planning of activities on clients various software packages. It is supposed that not less than 3 thousand employees across all Kazakhstan at the same time will be able to work with data of a MDM system. Using the web interface they will obtain in real time data and to make changes to contact information directly in MDM base.

Project Progress

Within the integration solution unique profiles of retail clients of bank by number about one million are created, instruments of receiving, filtering, information management by the staff of credit institution are developed.

For May 14, 2015 the main stages are completed:

• formation of the MDM base supporting a possibility of information input in three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English),
• the web interface is developed and implemented,
• the necessary reporting and functionality of data management is created,
• mechanisms of quality control and cleaning of information about clients are created,
• the "return" loading of the filtered contact information in four internal systems used by bank is ready.

Project Results

Quality control of the added information is supported by the system of two-level authorization (the operator initiates changes, the administrator will authorize them), and Active Directory integration (the centralized directory of employees and their access rights) guarantees to administrators preserving of usual scenarios of work on management of users. The scan mode is implemented directly in a system, and for document storage integration into the FTP server of bank was carried out.
