2020: Registration in Rospatent of modules "RSDH: Excel Addins" and "RSDH: SKKD"

R-Style Softlab announced on December 16, 2020 that it registered in Rospatent process modules "RSDH: Excel Addins" and "RSDH: SKKD"

"RSDH: Excel Addins" and "RSDH: SKKD" expand possibilities of an information and analytical system of RS-DataHouse. Functionality "RSDH: Excel Addins" allows users of RS-DataHouse to work with given online in spreadsheets of the MS Excel, in particular:

• process data, using formulas and possibilities of formatting of the MS Excel;
• edit data (to change, delete and add a line, to change values, etc.);
• work with linked objects of the database;
• save report templates, issued using standard functionality of MS of Excel. After preserving all made changes automatically are transferred to the database.

Using the module "RSDH: SKKD" (a quality control system of data) can execute the banks working with the RS-DataHouse system technology and business quality checks of data. Thanks to standardization of requirements to development of control procedures the company simplified their maintenance and created full-fledged library of checks with a possibility of their repeated application. Besides, in "RSDH: SKKD" is provided functionality of notifications on the revealed errors due to integration into the module of mailing of messages by e-mail which is a part of the RS-DataHouse system. After start "RSDH: SKKD" executes the configured groups of checks based on which the module of mailing sends reports to the set users.

2018: The superstructure on the tabular editor of RSDH Excel Addins is added

On August 16, 2018 the R-Style Softlab company announced expansion of functionality of an information and analytical system RS-DataHouse, having included in it a superstructure over the tabular editor of the MS Excel — RSDH Excel Addins. Users of RS-DataHouse had an opportunity to work with data of storage and subjects of business applications (budgets, managerial reports and so forth) directly in the MS Excel.

Using the provided development of RSDH Excel Addins users of an information and analytical system of RS-DataHouse will be able to work with given online in spreadsheets of the MS Excel, to process these data, using formulas and possibilities of formatting of the MS Excel, including to edit data (to change, delete and add a line, to change values, etc.), to work with linked objects of the database, to save report templates, issued by means of standard functionality of MS of Excel. After preserving all made changes automatically are transferred to the database.

In RS-DataHouse the office application of the MS Excel is applied not just as means to viewing ready reports, but also as the instrument of work with data of base and business applications. Now users can edit and update data online, receive reports in a usual and user-friendly interface of the MS Excel, use all richness of formulas, formatting and other tools of this application. Connection of the core banking system SC-Bank NT

R-Style Softlab On November 10, 2017 announced connection of the 50th data source to the information and analytical system (IAS) of RS-DataHouse. It became CORE BANKING SYSTEM SC-Bank NT the Belarusian producer "СофтКлуб".

The company implemented data integration of a system into uniform corporate storage on the RS-DataHouse platform during the project on automation of process of preparation of the management reporting and the reporting under IFRS in Belagroprombank.

As a system data source for IAS serve different types of difficult software, mainly the core banking system and also the front office systems, systems of accounting of intraeconomic activity, etc.

Support of Oracle Database 12c of release 2 and SSO technology

On September 15, 2017 R-Style Softlab announced release of updating of the RS-DataHouse IT platform. A system supports work of most current release DBMS Oracle 12с of release 2 (12.2.0.1.0). The compatibility of RS-DataHouse and versions of Oracle 12.1.0.2.0 and Oracle 12.2.0.1.0 DBMS was checked during functional and load testings. At the same time, support of technology of a uniform input (Single Sign-On/SSO) for all applications created on the basis of the platform is implemented opportunities for editing data, use of reference books are optimized, the logic of a matrix of funding and many other things is finished.

The main changes in the updated RS-DataHouse:

• In the current assembly of a system the Single Sign-On technology is implemented both for desktop, and for web applications of RS-DataHouse. It allows the business user (employee of the bank) to pass from one section of any application into another or to switch between them without repeated authentication.
• In the technology application "General Reference Books" which is responsible for consolidation and standardization of the normative reference information the interface, advanced functionality was optimized. Platform components for work with the MS Excel consider usual to bank specialists scenarios of import and export of files now, and service of the platform for formation of the volume reporting and the user data samplings provides setup of a priority of report execution and unloadings.
• Further development was gained by applied functionality of business applications of RS-DataHouse. For expansion of opportunities of the application "RSDH: The management reporting" the company developed the add-on module of creation and calculation of a matrix of funding, optimized work with intra bank transfers and allocations, filled up the list of distributive templates of the reporting.
• Business application "RSDH: The reporting of IFRS" it was adapted for the distributed technologies of data preparation. Now along with processes of approval of the reporting banks are given an opportunity to organize processes of verification and approval of the primary data used for reporting.
• In "RSDH: Budgeting and financial planning" work with a contractual basis on administrative expenses is optimized. There was an opportunity to detail planned and actual expenses under agreements in managerial analytics, and the functionality on planning of agreements, their approval, the conclusion, control and execution is developed.
• "RSDH: The reporting of the Central Bank" is updated according to the changes which happened in the legislation. The solution supports the requirements which appeared in 2017, including connected with calculations of bank standards (form 0409135) and need to provide the information on bank accounts and letters of credit, on bank account agreements and a bank deposit (deposit) of separate categories of legal entities (form 0409159).

According to Yulia Kvetkina, the director of the department of analytical banking systems of R-Style Softlab, in the subsequent versions it is going to implement requirements of the standard Basel III and a possibility of use of technologies of language of reporting of XBRL over what work is actively conducted.

2015: By IAS of RS-DataHouse it is updated for work on Oracle Database 12c

R-Style Softlab completed in the spring of 2015 updating of an information and analytical system of RS-DataHouse for work on the Oracle Database 12c DBMS platform. In the course of transition to the new version reduction of the disk space necessary for RS-DataHouse, in comparison with the previous version of DBMS was revealed.

Within the project of migration check of correctness of work of RS-DataHouse at its primary installation on a new management system for bases for data and also in the course of updating of DBMS — from the former version to Oracle Database of 12 pages was executed. Special attention was paid to compliance to new key functionality of Oracle Database 12c DBMS: Database In-Memory is the technology of data processing in RAM providing the highest performance of analytical requests; Automatic Data Optimization is automatic control of lifecycle of information which includes automatic compact of data under the terms and data transfer between different levels of storage systems (Flash-drives — for "hot" data, a SAS disks — for "warm" data, SATA disks — for "archive" data); Multitenant Database is multirent architecture which simplifies consolidation of a large number of databases, managing hundreds of databases as to one and reducing hardware costs.

2014: Testing of RS-DataHouse for a HSS of Oracle Exadata Database Machine

On June 3, 2014 it became known of testing, adaptation of RS-DataHouse of version 2.32 and BI tools for creation of the analytical applications focused on work with information of this DWH on a HSS of Oracle Exadata Database Machine.

According to data of the company, tests of RS-DataHouse on the Oracle Exadata platform showed:

• acceleration of data loading by 2.4 times at increase in volume of the loaded data by 50 times;
• acceleration of calculation of aggregated data by 3.8 times at increase in volume of the loaded data by 50 times;
• reduction of time of reporting from 3 to 34 o'clock minutes at 50-fold increase in volume of the loaded data.

2013

RS-DataHouse on the Oracle Exadata Database Machine X3 platform

The R-Style Softlab company announced in March, 2013 a successful completion of testing of IAS of RS-DataHouse on the Oracle Exadata platform. Tests showed that when using a system on this equipment significant increase in performance of all transactions characteristic of data warehouses is reached.

The hardware and software system showed high efficiency: on some transactions the speed of accomplishment increased by 35 times, information began to be loaded 10 times quicker, and data reading speed at the moment of peak load was 6 GB/sec. Using a new algorithm of a compression a number of big tables, such as table of postings on personal accounts (primary detailed data) and the table of a remaining balance according to registers of accounting (modular data), was succeeded to squeeze up to 9 times that allowed to reduce significantly the total amount of base without performance penalty at the addressing data.

The operability of functionality of all main transactions was tested: data loadings, calculation of units and obtaining reports. Performance measures in resource-intensive operations on calculation of show-windows of the credits and deposits of individuals were estimated.

Testing was held on the equipment of Exadata Database Machine X3 in the half rack configuration (half power). In an arsenal of the producer the similar equipment is also in configuration 1/4 and 1/8 from ultimate power that allows clients to increase the iron resources gradually — in process of growth of volumes of business.

RS-DataHouse the statuses Oracle Exadata Ready and Oracle SuperCluster Ready are given

The R-Style Softlab company announced in September, 2013 receiving RS-DataHouse (v. 2.32) the statuses Oracle Exadata Ready and Oracle SuperCluster Ready within the affiliate program of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).
