Simple (Optimum Forwarding agent)

May 29, 2015. The Simple company announced implementation of logistic solutions on the Optimum platform, the planning processes of delivery routes and GPS monitoring of transport of sales representatives which allowed to automate.

Project Progress

At the first stage of implementation of the program for transport logistics the Optimum of the GIS "Delivery" in Simple company was automated planning process of delivery routes across Moscow. Thanks to optimization of routes on the basis of the addresses from the database of orders transportation costs were considerably cut down. Together with it, the solution GIS Optimum allowed to control location of transport during the day, excepting a possibility of inappropriate use of the car and working time of the delivery driver.

At the second stage implementation of the mobile solution Optimum Forwarding Agent which brings to the driver to the tablet computer information from the GIS Optimum system on the planned route, points of delivery, delivery notes of shipment was implemented, allows to trace a delivery status and also other indicators of visit of a point (time and the exact place of visit, the time spent in a point, result of a visit, etc.).

After the Moscow project delivery and in St. Petersburg where implementation of the logistic programs "Deliveries" and "Forwarding agent" went at the same time was automated.

By the beginning of 2015 in Moscow and St. Petersburg about 100 mobile employees (the solution Forwarding agent), operators ("Delivery") are automated, monitoring of 70 vehicles of sales representatives is performed, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

According to the CIO D.I. Sadakov, it is impossible to provide today that was once spent till several o'clock in day for manual formation of delivery routes. Now logisticians almost instantly can make little changes to the route which is already in advance created by the Optimum system. The fact that all data are included in the single database of a corporate information system allows heads of departments to control work of mobile employees, creating the corresponding reports on these or those indicators. The solutions Optimum helped the company to increase efficiency and to increase delivery power, having reduced numerous quantity of the involved labor resources in accomplishment of certain tasks.
