DTEK started operation of hybrid IT infrastructure

On June 3, 2015 the operator of cloud computing De Novo announced the beginning of providing "The Selected Virtual Private Cloud" service of the DTEK energy company.

DTEK company placed in De Novo cloud of several high-loaded business applications, including a corporate mail system for 20 thousand users.

"Two-three years ago DTEK was focused on construction of own land data processing center. But during this time there was a rapid development of cloud services, their performance and reliability grew, service quality increased. And, as a new stage, in the market there were offers which are most meeting customer requirements. "The selected virtual private cloud" De Novo – one of striking examples of such changes. It pushed us to a thought of creation of hybrid IT infrastructure where a part of information remained in land DPCs, and a part – is transferred to a cloud. At the same time we saved target architecture, flexibility of management and scalability of services", – Sergey Detyuk, the CIO of DTEK Energo noted.
