Otto Group Russia transferred support of a corporate environment of SAP to outsourcing

On June 4, 2015 the IBS group announced signing of the contract on maintenance of a corporate system on the SAP platform in the company of Direkt the Service Directory.

Being going to transfer basic administration of systems to outsourcing to the service center IBS for support of business applications, the Otto Group company the main objective saw ensuring stable work of applications, critical for business.

For support of key transactions in the Russian division of Otto Group the corporate information system on the SAP platform is used. A system - one of the most important elements of IT architecture of the company, it provides the basic operational processes according to corporate rules of automation and standards.

To get access to broad examination according to SAP solutions, to ensure stable and smooth functioning of the corporate system and to optimize IT costs, the management of Otto Group Russia made the decision - to transfer function of technical support on outsourcing of IBS company.

The contract for support provides responsibility of IBS for working capacity and performance of SAP systems with a possibility of unlimited attraction of resources of the outsourcer for the solution of these tasks. Responsibility of the contractor is enshrined in the agreement on the service level (SLA).

Project Progress

Within works on administration specialists of IBS conduct monitoring of systems for identification of potential problems before they have a business impact of the customer. A system is placed at capacities of external hosting provider and all works are performed in the remote mode.
