"TPS the Real estate" upgraded corporate telephony

On June 11, 2015 the LanKey company integrator announced project completion of implementation of the IP telephony at the office TPS Real estate on the platform of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Business Edition 6000 station.

Project Tasks

The growing business needs and development of the systems of communications caused decision-making by the management of TPS the Real estate about upgrade of the operating communication systems of the company. Main objectives of the project:

• improve and update telecommunication infrastructure of the company;
• provide to employees more convenient and functional fixed telephone communication;
• have an opportunity of use of mobile devices of employees and personal computers as program IP phones.

Project Progress

The management of TPS the Real estate addressed with the order LanKey system integrator.

The customer conducted comparison of options of creation of a system independently on the basis of solutions Cisco and Avaya then selected the solution on the basis of the IP PBX Cisco BE 6000 complete with the voice gateway on the platform of the router Cisco ISR 2911.

Yaroslav Muravyev, the head of technical department of department of telecommunication solutions of LanKey company, told: "As the station went on sale only last year and is the first product Cisco with orientation to use in virtual environment, there was a probability that not all its functions will correctly work. But experience of our engineers and competitive cost of the station of steel for the customer powerful arguments for benefit of this solution. Especially as the program core of Cisco BE 6000 is borrowed full-fledged Communication Manager — the leader in the line of Cisco devices for the joint communications that guarantees to users of Cisco BE 6000 permanent updating of the platform and adding of new features".

This compact station can service up to 2000 subscribers and combines services of contact center, the auto attendant, voice mail, service of presence for mobile clients of Cisco Jabber. When exceeding number of subscribers the customer will be able to install the additional Cisco BE 6000 server for redistribution of loading. Costs will be minimum: it is necessary to purchase only the new server. Engineers of LanKey configured the main and reserve SIP trunks for communication with external telephone networks, performed tuning of E1 channel for communication with a legacy digital exchange of NEC. Analog faxes and conference phones are connected via the FXS interface using the gateway VG224. Reservation of automatic telephone exchange is executed by means of the reserve CUCM virtual machine and ^[1]. As the main devices in TPS the Real estate the videophones Cisco 8945 are used. The existing VKS codecs on the Sony PCS platform are integrated with video clients of Cisco Jabber and Cisco 8945.

Project Results

As a result of accomplishment of the project solution the company TPS Real estate resolved the tasks connected with upgrade of corporate telephony by means of implementation of the qualitative and reliable station IP telephony Cisco BE 6000 at the minimum investments, having provided gradation from traditional telephony to the joint communications, having saved a part of phone numbers together with legacy telephone exchange NEC.
