FORS Distribution unrolled a HSS of Oracle Big Data Appliance

On June 26, 2015 the Oracle company announced deployment in IT infrastructure of FORS Distribution company of the hardware and software system Oracle Big Data Alliance X5 for expansion of support of partners in Russia in projects according to Big Data.

Project Tasks

The main objective of the center – to show practical benefits of use of Big Data technologies and to teach partners as fast as possible and to effectively use them for implementation of tasks of clients.

FORS Distribution actively develops own technology examination, creating around itself the partner community focused on implementation of tasks by means of solutions of the Big Data level. The optimized hardware and software system Oracle Big Data Appliance X5-2 set in FORS Solution Center gives to the largest developer companies a unique opportunity - to reduce time and costs for project implementation. Sharing of a HSS with Oracle Exadata will help to show scenarios of creation of the analytical systems which are at the same time using the data which are stored in DBMS Oracle and Hadoop.

FORS Solution Center offers partners full range of services of support based on the hardware and software systems Oracle Engineered Systems as a part of which now and Oracle Big Data Appliance:

FORS Solution Center will work in cooperation with software developers partners in implementation of the business challenges based on the analysis and processing of Big Data, such as targeting of a profile of clients, counteraction to fraud, analysis and creation of trends of behavior and reaction, forecasting of works on production management, etc., more than ten different scenarios for each industry. A full-function set of technologies of Oracle for storage, the analysis and processing of Big Data, such as – Oracle NoSQL Database, Oracle Big Data Connectors, Oracle Big Data Discovery, etc., will help to fill up a range of services in the innovation center "FORS Distribution".
