On June 26, 2015, 1C announced the completion of the stage of the integrated automation project at the Digital ION Center. The 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.0 solution has been deployed.

Project objectives

To reorganize the company as part of brand modernization, the company required a single information system for all divisions for operational planning of purchases and sales of products, quick customer service, financial management and pricing policy.

The main requirements for the system are:

  • Flexible functionality to automate sales and purchasing planning, budgeting, accounting for, IFRS personnel accounting.
  • Low cost of acquisition and ownership.
  • Support for the sales equipment used in the company.

The ION digital center previously used the products of the company "1C" - "1C: Accounting 8" and "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" and therefore, as the basis for a comprehensive information system, chose a solution on the platform "1C:Enterprise 8" - "1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.0."

The company decided to independently carry out implementation work, with the support of 1C, which provides technical and methodological advice under the cooperation agreement.

Project progress

At the first stage of the project, the tasks are automated:

  • procurement management,
  • cash,
  • sales planning
  • maintenance of regulated accounting.

The system is deployed at 100 workplaces.

Project Summary

  • Two levels of purchasing planning are supported: operational, for short periods by specific units of goods, and strategic - by segments of the item, for long periods. For long-term products, purchase plans are formed on the basis of consolidated sales plans, for the rest of the products that can be delivered to the warehouse in the shortest possible time, specialized functionality of replenishing the inventory is used based on the calculated irreducible balance.

  • Support for the "auction" procurement scheme has been implemented. It allows you to transfer to the supplier in electronic form a list of items with desired purchase prices, upload prices sent by suppliers to the system, translate prices into arbitrary currency, and show the dynamics of supplier prices for a specific item. Based on this information, the manager decides to purchase the goods from a particular supplier. The company now buys goods at better prices. The labor costs of specialists involved in procurement management have been reduced by a total of 50%.

  • Control of mutual settlements with suppliers has been strengthened. All payments are now made in strict accordance with the payment calendar. Operational accounting of loans and deposits is organized. It became possible to generate analytical reports on cash flows according to various criteria, which made it possible to increase the efficiency of financial planning. The preparation of management reports on cash flows accelerated by 3.5 times

  • The tasks of accounting and tax accounting of the company are automated using the standard functionality "1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.0." This confirms the possibility of using the system by medium and large enterprises without significant improvements. The use of a unified system for all divisions allows you to form regulated reporting based on operational data, which significantly reduces the time for its preparation. Accounting specialists now take half the time to generate reports.

Aleksei Zaytsev, head of the software and hardware department of the Digital ION Center, noted: "The methods and functionality offered in this system meet the declared capabilities and cover all the requirements for our company's system. As a result of the first phase of the project, we managed to organize an effective procurement management system in difficult economic conditions. In the future, with the help of 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.0, we plan to automate operational accounting and budgeting tasks. At the moment, the system has already set up and tested the budgeting model, in which the sales trend is based on statistics, taking into account seasonal coefficients.
