HPE Helion CloudSystem

HP Helion CloudSystem is integrated solution with an open cloud environment. The system of HP Helion CloudSystem, is based on OpenStack technology and developed with emphasis on automation and usability.

Existence of an open source code and support of providing hybrid services allows use of local services in a private cloud, at the same time managing remote services or transfer of processes in a public cloud of external suppliers at sharp increase in workload.

For ensuring the maximum flexibility, the HP solution of Helion CloudSystem is delivered as a software package or as a part of the complete solution HP ConvergedSystem. Unroll it in the existing infrastructure for increase in level of an investment payback or as the integrated system to minimize the period necessary for obtaining business results eventually. For absolutely new cloud environment we recommend to use completely integrated solution of HP of Helion CloudSystem which is delivered together with the ready to use and optimized under workloads HP ConvergedSystem infrastructure. Depending on the needs for cloud workloads, it is possible to select one of HP solutions of ConvergedSystem:

• HP Helion CloudSystem on the HP platform of ConvergedSystem 700x for a cloud are the updated system of intellectual calculations and SAN from HP supporting the latests version of HP OneView and ProLiant Gen9;

• HP Helion CloudSystem on the ConvergedSystem 200-HC StoreVirtual HP platform – the hyper convergent platform with computing resources and local storage system.

The HP solution of Helion CloudSystem realizes the main characteristics of OpenStack technology, providing the safe flexible platform open source for providing cloud services. Using this open and safe built-in solution, users can effectively design and control cloud services at all levels of private and hybrid clouds.

2015: There was a release of HP of Helion CloudSystem 9.0

On July 6, 2015 provided to HP release of the flagman integrated cloud solution of a corporate class - HP Helion CloudSystem 9.0.

HP Helion CloudSystem is the integrated, single solution for creation of private clouds designed to help clients to realize all advantages of hybrid infrastructure. It is suitable for traditional and cloud workloads and allows to automate, configure and control several heterogeneous clouds, processes and technologies at once.

In the system of HP of Helion CloudSystem 9.0 support of several hypervisors and several clouds is expanded to provide to the enterprises and service providers at most of flexibility.

HP Helion CloudSystem 9.0 integrates HP Helion OpenStack and HP Helion Development Platform, offering customers the platform of a corporate class open source for development of truly cloud applicaions and infrastructure. As a part of functions of HP Helion CloudSystem 9.0:

• simultaneous support of several cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) Microsoft Azure, HP Helion Public Cloud, technologies OpenStack and VMware, with a possibility of full control of location of workloads

• the release of HP of Helion OpenStack providing API of the software of OpenStack for simplification and acceleration of development and integration with other clouds and also offering additions, convenient for developers, using the platform of development of HP Helion Development Platform on the basis of Cloud Foundry

• support of several hypervisors, for July 6, 2015 - Microsoft Hyper-V Red Hat KVM VMware VSphere deployment of "bare metal" provide the additional choice and help to avoid dependence on the specific supplier

• support of AWS compatible private clouds through integration into HP Helion Eucalyptus provides flexibility at deployment of the existing workloads of AWS in the clouds controlled by them

• support of unstructured data within the Swift OpenStack Object Storage project

• the latest version of the HP solution of Cloud Service Automation offering abilities to manage for control of hybrid cloud environments and the built-in way for support of distributed computing, effective storage of objects and rapid development of cloud applicaions

• the distribution model in the form of the preconfigured virtual machines allows to execute solution deployment in few hours.

The HP solution of Helion CloudSystem 9.0 is available in the form of separately deliverable software supporting the equipment of different suppliers or in the form of completely integrated hyper convergent or a blade infrastructure with HP ConvergedSystem.

The beginning of sales of HP of Helion CloudSystem 9.0 is planned for the second half of 2015.

2014: HP Helion CloudSystem CS200-HC

HP Helion CloudSystem CS200-HC is development of a line of HP of Converged System.

HP Helion CloudSystem CS 200-HC offers an opportunity of creation of a hybrid cloud environment. The solution is quickly deployed, it is convenient in management and support, helps the enterprises and service providers with creation of clouds for traditional and cloud loadings.
