Rostec will pay 1.2 billion rubles for IT services

At the end of July, 2015 Rostec is going to select the contractor for rendering services in providing and maintenance of IT services. The maximum price which the company quoted for these services is 1.17 billion rubles, and terms of their rendering are designated for 32 months.

According to documentation^[1] on the project, a set of services within the contract includes user support of corporate systems, maintenance of information systems and general-system services, warranty and post warranty support of the equipment, management of backup, providing virtual work places (DaaS), service of printing and some other services.

"Replacement of computers and monitors on thin clients, replacement of mobile devices should be in addition made, implementation of new IT services and services of information security is performed, local infrastructure is updated. It is the whole complex of changes which will allow to optimize completely all system", - told TAdviser in Rostec.

Representatives of Rostec told TAdviser that still services in support of systems and users were specialists of its subsidiary company "RT-Inform" within appointment it as the uniform supplier for a certain term.

Rostec expands use of services of IT outsourcing in the company

"Now Rostec sets the task about transfer of the centralized services to new level that cannot be made within old infrastructure", - representatives of Rostec told.

Added to the companies that earlier already used services of outsourcing of support of systems. So, for example,the Corus Consulting company supports EDMS, a system of uniform corporate treasury is supported by Novikombank and CFT, the information and analytical system is supported by Central Research Institute Elektroniki.

The application software and information systems which are transferred to support "1C: Enterprise Accounting 8.2","1C: Payroll and HR Management 8.2","1C: Consolidation", EDMS, a management system for a property complex of Rostec, the system of uniform corporate treasury, a budgeting system of central office, external and internal portals of corporation, an information system of legal acts, the system of barcoding and some other include.

The information systems which are used in Rostec are based on two own platforms of the company in Moscow, follows from terms of reference. Within the contract for rendering IT services it is going to use also resources of DPC of the contractor. An opportunity to provide providing necessary computing and network powers is specified to some of requirements to it and also services in providing it is resistant - places for placement of the equipment of Rostec.

The contract also assumes transfer to Rostec to lease of the equipment among which – more than 600 monitors, several video walls and about 600 webcams, 600 terminal stations Kraftway, the equipment for a LAN of production of Huawei, 250 mobile devices YotaPhone 2, etc.
