"OMK" reduced costs implementation of technology of closing of reporting periods

On July 23, 2015 the SAP company and JSC United Metallurgical Company (UMC) announced an implementation project of the SAP solution Financial Closing Cockpit for reduction of terms of closing of reporting periods. The project is implemented together with IBS company.

Project Results

Implementation is carried out in 3 months. Terms of closing of reporting periods are 6 days now — 2.5 times less, than earlier. Monthly reduction of the period of closing of the reporting for 8 days means that within a year all OMK holding spends for these transactions 1.5 months smaller, reducing labor costs and other costs.

The SAP solution Financial Closing Cockpit is integrated in an IT landscape of holding. For July 23, 2015 350 users work with it.
