On July 24, 2015 the IT-Grad company announced system implementation of Netapp Clustered Data ONTAP.
Project Tasks
The company made the decision on replacement of Netapp v6240 controllers under the Data ONTAP 7-mode operating system and acquisition of the new equipment from a line of FAS.
In addition the possibility of effective block deduplication and caching on SSD was required for the company. From the unified horizontally scalable DWH offered in the market, the company selected NetApp of FAS 8040.
Project Progress
Planning transition to a cluster, the company unrolled storage system of Clustered Data ONTAP 8.2.2.

The task is solved by copying of all clients (all volumes of DWH) on cluster NetApp of FAS 8040 without idle time, imperceptibly.
