"Aircraft engine" upgraded DPC

On July 28, 2015 the Croc company announced ^[1] the project of accumulation of power of DPC of JSC Aviadvigatel^[1].

Project Tasks

For July 28, 2015 Aircraft engine is engaged in design of the turbine jet for the medium range MS-21 passenger airliner. Due to the growing volume of calculations the enterprise needed additional capacities of own computing cluster (supercomputer).

"Now our company solves large production problems, in the long term — even more large-scale projects therefore there was a need for expansion of the DPC designed and equipped in 2010. As well as five years ago specialists Croc were engaged in implementation — the company has a wide experience in creation, upgrade and accumulation of capacities of similar objects" — Nikolay Koksharov, the first deputy chief designer - the chief of experimental design bureau of JSC Aviadvigatel said.

Project Progress

For permission of an assigned task specialists Croc implemented the second queue of DPC and installed the new server hardware.

Project Results

Croc completed the project on expansion of a data processing center by request of JSC Aviadvigatel. Upon completion of the project the total area of DPC grew to 134 ^sq.m, the maximum power of total rack loading — reached 235 kW with a possibility of expansion to 410 kW.

The expanded DPC is completely equipped with the modern engineering equipment: these are uninterruptible power supply units, telekomshkafa and conditioners (internal blocks), a structured cabling system, a raised floor and the fire-fighting equipment of the Russian production.
