Fozzy Group unrolled wireless networks in outlets

On August 28, 2015 the Cisco company announced the project of deployment of Wi-fi network the custom-made Fozzy Group in volume of 700 points.

The management of Fozzy Group delivered before integrator of the project Inkom company the purpose — to organize a wireless network and an accounting system for operational information processing in real time.

Project Progress

Solving this problem, the contractor set in the warehouses Fozzy Group of 150 wireless access points Cisco of series AP-1142, and in S_lpo shops — devices of series AP-1602. At the central office the integrator deployed two Cisco 5508 controllers and the Cisco controller of series 8500. The created automation system helps to control work of wireless networks in shops from the uniform center, to manage access points in trading floors, to recustomize them and to distribute loading, to control safety of data transmission.

Ivan Slavioglo, the Chief information officer of Fozzy Group, noted: "During creation of Wi-fi network the emphasis is placed on scalability, security and reduction in cost of operational support".

Project Results

The wireless network on the basis of solutions of Cisco allowed Fozzy Group to accelerate key business processes. Almost time of warehouse transactions and an inventory of goods was reduced by 70%.

It is supposed that the project in retail chain stores of Fozzy Group will gain further development. On the next stage partners are going to increase quantity of access points in shops and to implement a number of additional functions, such as service of contextual advertizing on the basis of a wireless network for increase in loyalty of buyers and sales growth.
