September 09, 2015. The AXELOT company announced implementation of "1C: WMS" in a warehouse of JSC Saransk Television Plant.

Choosing a Solution

For optimization of warehouse activity of the company the 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4 software product – one of the most universal solutions in the Russian market of WMS today intended for automation of warehouses of the different directions of business was selected. AXELOT – developer company of this WMS became the contractor of the project.

Project Progress

During the project specialists of AXELOT prepared the scheme of use and configured the model of the implemented system and also held testing of warehouse processes. After that in the company personnel training and installation inventory took place and also integration "1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4" with the carousel racks of Kardex then a system was brought into operation was executed. The feature of this integration solution consists that storage systems of Kardex are directly connected with the WMS system of a warehouse and are controlled one centralized computer which exercises full control over the movement of goods and work of a warehouse, supporting all types of warehouse transactions and orders of write-off. It is also necessary to note that prior to the beginning of system implementation the nomenclature in a warehouse of Saransk Television Plant more than for 90% was not a shtrikhkodirovana. Barcoding happened directly at the time of carrying out inventory that allowed to solve two problems at the same time. The project team from JSC Saransk Television Plant also showed high professionalism and in every possible way promoted project implementation acceleration.

All project of automation of a warehouse was implemented in three large stages that significantly accelerated process of system implementation and allowed to start it in the shortest possible time. In addition to automation of accounting of products, implementation "1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4" allowed to increase significantly the speed of accomplishment of orders and also to reduce dependence on personnel and to reduce time of training of new employees. Due to the introduction of online accounting of products also customer service quality improved: now orders are executed most fully and precisely, the quantity of errors considerably decreased. The general capacity of a warehouse grew by 40%.

Result

During implementation of "1C: WMS" all key warehouse processes were automated and also cooperation of WMS with the carousel racks of Kardex is established. The project allowed to improve significantly working indicators of a warehouse, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
