Softline implemented multimedia technologies in educational processes of SKFU

September 15, 2015. The Softline company announced project implementation on delivery and implementation of the multimedia equipment at the North Caucasian federal university.

Choosing a Solution

The management of the university made the decision on equipment of audiences in Stavropol and Pyatigorsk by multimedia projectors and screens for them. As the partner on a competitive basis the Softline company which specialists have wide experience in implementation of complex projects for the academic organizations was selected. Project Progress During the project specialists of Softline performed delivery and installation of equipment (short-focus projectors of Epson EB-436WI and screens), created necessary auxiliary communications (SCS, the electric networks) for connection of the equipment. After that the equipment was integrated into a corporate information network of the university that provided centralized operation with projectors and a possibility of remote broadcast of content. At the final stage of the project balancing and commissioning was carried out and executive documentation is prepared.

Result

As a result of about 150 audiences of the university were equipped with modern projectors which broadcast the image on the screen, turning it into an interactive board. By means of special "marker" users can draw, take notes on the projected image. The broadcast materials can be saved on the PC, tablets, smartphones and by means of a special application to transfer on Wi-Fi-network to other computer devices. As a result learning process became interactive, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

"Our specialists provided the university with the necessary multimedia equipment, completely prepared the equipment for work and also created necessary auxiliary communications. The centralized management structure provided with devices a possibility of broadcast of content from a uniform point and considerably simplified administration of resources in the body of Stavropol Territory and in the Pyatigorsk SKFU", - Nikolay Mamontov, the head of complex projects of Softline company told.

The multimedia equipment will allow teachers to give lectures and the presentations in an interactive mode for the students who are in audiences of Stavropol and Pyatigorsk. It will significantly add opportunities for creativity in learning process, will increase the involvement of students into educational process and will positively affect productivity of work", - Valentin Shipulin, the vice rector for study of SKFU told.
