Vyksa Steel Works: what technologies became a basis of upgrade of IT

On September 28, 2015 the LANIT company announced project completion of supply of equipment and upgrade of IT infrastructure of shop information systems of Vyksa Steel Works.

The customer initiated the project within development and upgrade of the shop information systems (SIS). As a part of the failsafe complete solution the BladeSystem HP server hardware and storage systems of HP 3PAR.

Project Results

Program and the hardware is duplicated in two geographically distributed data centers. As the system of uniform management and monitoring of two platforms the software of HP of Insight Control is used.

The list of the functions executed by a hardware and software system includes planning and industrial process control, accounting and quality control of products and many other things. The continuity production and business processes is provided. The possibility of failure and equipment downtime is minimized.

The failsafe configuration of the solution helps the customer to reduce labor input of regular operations on service of IT infrastructure, to increase its availability due to reservation of components and application of modularity of creation of a system of complex monitoring and management.
