The committee on telecommunications and informatization of the Leningrad Region purchased means of protecting of data in DPC

On September 30, 2015 the Code of Security company announced project implementation of implementation of means of protecting of vGate in a data processing center of Electronic government of the Leningrad Region. The project orderer - the Committee on telecommunications and informatization of the Leningrad Region, work on product introduction was carried out by GKU LO "The operator of the electronic government". Delivery of vGate was executed by SuperWave group.

Project Results

The data processing center of the government of the Leningrad Region represents the virtualized cluster on the VMware vSphere platform. In DPC information systems of executive bodies of the government of the Leningrad Region, including the portal of the public and municipal services, the system of ensuring activity of regional MFC, the accounting and accounting systems, EDMSs, databases of CRM systems and so forth function. In the state information systems personal data and other confidential information are stored and processed. vGate R2 provides the certified protection of this information and allows to bring virtual infrastructure into accord to requirements of orders of FSTEC of Russia No. 17 and No. 21 and to prepare a system for certification passing.

"Before the project the list of the main requirements to the system of protection of DPC of the government of the Leningrad Region was created. We looked for the solution which is certified according to requirements of FSTEC of Russia, supports work with the VMware platform, implements protection by exclusively software tools, has the developed functionality and different mechanisms of security in virtual infrastructure. vGate was the only solution meeting all our requirements", – the director of GKU LO "OEP", Mikhail Korablyov told.
