On October 6, 2015 the operator of cloud services De Novo announced providing to Motor (transport) insurance bureau Ukraine (MTSBU) cloud resources for testing and start of the Electronic Policy system.
Project Tasks
Implementation of "The electronic policy" - one of crucial elements of reforming of insurance market of Ukraine. MTSBU prepared the complex bill in this direction and conducts hard work on implementation of electronic services in the field of insurance.
MTSBU (2013)
The Electronic Policy system of MTSBU is a core of this process. This product will provide release and storage of electronic policies, possibilities of control of their presence at car owners. Using web technologies information systems of all insurers – members of MTSBU will be connected with the MTSBU system. Consumers of insurance services for signing of the contracts of insurance will be able independently - using Internet access, to address information resources of the selected insurer or to work through insurance agents, to address directly to office of the insurer.
All operations on signing of the contracts of insurance will take place with the addressing the Electronic Policy System of MTSBU.
Project Progress
The test version of a system will be ready to the middle of October. After the end of its primary testing member insurers of MTSBU will be able to begin test connection of the information systems to the Electronic Policy system of MTSBU. Requirements to a system are extremely big: it should be round the clock available, steady against failures and easily scalable. Therefore MTSBU made the decision to develop a system on the platform of the Cloud De Novo.

Project Results
It is supposed that in a year after acceptance of legislative changes the electronic form of the policy of compulsory liability insurance of owners of vehicles completely will replace paper. In December, 2015 a system will be ready for ensuring technical capability to sign agreements of compulsory third party car insurance electronically.
